When not writing romance--or nonfiction to share what she has learned in life--Joan divides her time between the hustle and bustle of Houston and a house in the Texas Hill Country. At their country house, Joan and her hero, her husband, sit on the porch at night, look up at the star-studded sky, and listen to the coyotes howl.
Joan lives the philosophy that is the premise of all of her romance novels: "It's never too late to live happily ever after."
